The Gentle, Wild Art of Memoir Writing Workshops — you’ve lived to tell, now get your stories onto paper. I developed this 8-week memoir writing course in 2015 for the Free Library of Philadelphia. Since then, it continues in seasonal sessions, and has grown and shifted and expanded into quite a marvelous vehicle. It’s been held at an art center, a charming cafe, a private home, and now over the ZOOM platform. Anyone who has WiFi access can now participate. One of the blessings wrapped in the current disaster.

Improv Storytelling Playshops — the most fun one can have while sitting in a chair. What the heck is Improv Story? Well, it’s not stand-up comedy. It’s not traditional, old-fashioned storytelling. It’s like sitting with friends around a campfire and bunging jumping at the same time. One needs a 4-hour time slot for a class, an even-number of participants, and a willingness to let your deep, wise, infinitely creative self be in charge and give It free rein. Any doubts you may have about your own or anyone else’s innate creative brilliance will be dissolved. Best done live and in-person. We’ll get there.
